The favorting feature is great to keep track of your favorite customizations. If you don't mind the plethora of ads, Zedge is a great app to download customized sounds, ringtones and wallpapers for your Android phone. This caused me to accidentally tap on an ad many times, which is obviously what the developers want. The app already includes banner ads at the bottom of the page but it'll pop up a full page ad once in a while. The most annoying part of the app is the full screen ads. Wallpapers can be downloaded to your phone and ringtones can be managed by Zedge. You can set your customizations either from Zedge or access it from Android's menu system when in the settings. From this screen you can set the customization, rate it or favorite it for later. Tapping on a ringtone or wallpaper will let you play or view the content. Wallpapers, sounds and games are either presented as a list or thumbnail grid. Zedge's interface isn't the easiest to use but it's not bad. In fact, Google Play's curated lists are actually more compelling than the games lists in Zedge. While it's nice to be able to look at games in the app, it doesn't offer anything over just browsing for games in Google Play.
Well, you can browse games and tap on links that take you to the Google Play store. If you find something you like, you can download it immediately or add it to your favorites to download later. The app will also help you choose with curated lists called "Featured." You can also browse by popularity, recents or by category. While you could just look up these customizations on various websites, Zedge makes it easy to get all them them in once place. Zedge lets you take the customizations further with downloadable ringtones, notifications, wallpapers and more.
